Simpsons Comics and Stories is a one-time comic book, and it is also the last issue of Simpsons Illustrated.
Since Simpsons Comics and Stories was also the last issue of Simpsons Illustrated, it was published by Welsh Publishing Group, Inc. instead of Bongo Comics. However, the stories are written and drawn by the same writers and artists, respectively. It contains four stories: Lo, There Shall Come...a Bartman!!, Bring Me the Head of El Barto, Maggie's Excellent Adventure, and Krusty the Clown Presents: Itchy & Scratchy's Power Tool Safety Tips.
Two versions were made: a standard version and the Special Collector's Edition; the latter includes a free Bartman poster.
